Go TeamsPhoto Album"No, I don't find it a bit easy - the outreach work, I mean, on one of the [teams]. To be truthful, door-to-door work really scares me, I find open-air witnessing pretty nerve-wrecking, street witnessing is worse, if anything, and even coffee-bar work, at which I feel most at home, isn't at all easy. "So why on earth did you go to Galway?" someone may ask. "If it's as tough as that, why did you not stay at home?" Well, indeed, why not? No one pressurized me into going, and I'd done this type of work before, and so knew what to expect. Yet I went, and I'll go again gladly if it is God's will. Why? Perhaps 2 Corinthians 5 v 14 is the real reason "For the love of Christ controls and urges and impels us..."(Amplified New Testament). I could also say that it is because the joy and personal benefit one experiences from this type of work far outweighs any adverse considerations. When I think of the girls and boys with whom we shared our personal knowledge of Jesus Christ, of those who eagerly drank in the Gospel truths, of the clear evidence of the convicting work of the Holy Spirit as God's word was presented, and in many cases of the eager acceptances of the Truth, I'm just humbly grateful to God that he used me in some small way in Galway this summer." Margaret Kerr - Galway Team
"Dublin... was an unforgettable experience. It brought alive the term 'brothers and sisters in the Lord' and as one team member remarked it was like a taste of heaven here on earth." Marcus McCollum - Dublin Team
"My time in Galway was really profitable. I really enjoyed getting to know the fellowship and how much God has blessed them. It makes it so much easier to pray for them when you know of what's happening in the fellowship. For anyone who hasn't been on the Galway GO Team before, I would really encourage you to go." Philip McCollum - Galway GO Team
"We need to attempt things where we find ourselves needing to rely on God instead of on ourselves. That is one of the great benefits of GO Teams - you get to see God at work. It is one of the most exciting things you can do." Mark Loughridge - Faughan GO Team
"My week in Nantes has given me the chance to get to know the missionaries better, and to be better informed when I pray for them.... If you've never been on a GO Team to Nantes, I'd really encourage you to go." Gillian McCauley - Nantes GO Team (France)
