People are so indifferent to the great questions of eternity. If only God would do something dramatic to show them. Elijah had a dramatic demonstration of God's power at Mt. Carmel and he probably thought everything would work out. Elijah was very disappointed when it didn't and in the fruits of his ministry. God is going to explain.
