Many Christians today, sadly, see the Old Testament as inferior. They don't see Christ in all of scripture as is very apparent in Isaiah 53. This passage has as it's subject the suffering servant that brings about salvation.

2. The derision expressed at His appearance
3. The contempt shown to His gospel
